Delete by email

Send an email from the address tied to your Gallop account asking us to delete it. We'll confirm and remove your account within 7 days, and always within 30 days at the latest.

Email a deletion request

Sends to hello@gogallop.app. Please email from the address that's on your Gallop account so we can verify it's you.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record (email + sign-in identifier).
  • Your profile (display name, username, bio, avatar).
  • Your lists and any items you added to them.
  • Your saved shows.
  • Your visit history.
  • Your follows and followers relationships.
  • Your push-notification token.

What might be retained

  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics (for example, how many people opened a given exhibition) that can't be tied back to you.
  • Standard server logs, kept briefly for security and debugging, and then automatically expired.
  • Records we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons. Gallop doesn't take payments, so this rarely applies.
