Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Gallop — the mobile app, the website at gogallop.app, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need an account to save shows, build lists, log visits, follow galleries, or hop. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Don't share your account with someone else.

Your content

You keep ownership of the lists, notes, photos, visit logs, and other content you create on Gallop. By posting content you grant us a limited license to store and display it inside the Service so it works as intended — for example, showing your lists to people you invite to them.

Don't post content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, harasses other users, or is intentionally misleading about a gallery or exhibition. We may remove content or accounts that violate these rules.

Gallery and exhibition data

Listings of galleries, exhibitions, and opening hours are compiled from public sources and curated by us. We work hard to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee correctness. Confirm details with the gallery before you make a trip.

Acceptable use

• Don't scrape, mirror, or resell the Service or its data.
• Don't reverse engineer the app or attempt to break authentication.
• Don't use the Service to spam other users or send unsolicited messages.
• Don't use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

Privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@gogallop.app. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are putting other users at risk.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gallop disclaims all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gallop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is $0 for free accounts).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
