Anna Gregor

D. D. D. D. is pleased to present Collected Essays, a solo exhibition of new paintings by gallery artist Anna Gregor.

Collected Essays, a new show of paintings by Anna Gregor at D.D.D.D., is what it says it is: a collection of attempts. More or less faithfully depicting handmade mirrors with paintings by recognized and unrecognized masters scratched into them, each work on view is an attempt to discover visual, conceptual, and historical coherence in a visually, conceptually, and historically fragmented world.

Anna Gregor is a painter who occasionally writes about Paintings. She has a BFA from Parsons The New School for Design (2019) and an MFA in Painting from Hunter College (2025). Gregor’s work has been shown in three solo shows, including "Double Space" at D.D.D.D. (2024), and in various group exhibitions at galleries including Tops Gallery, Below Grand, and Emanuel von Baeyer London. She is co-founder and editor of Perseity Art Review, and her essays have been published in Caesura, The Revenant Quarterly, and Two Coats of Paint. She is a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant and teaches drawing and painting at Fordham University.
