Lola von der Gracht

Sandy Brown is pleased to present Paris Drawings by Lola von der Gracht. This is the artist's first solo exhibition at Sandy Brown and features sixteen works on paper.

Lola von der Gracht’s work as an artist encompasses written and spoken word, performance, drawing, collage, photography and installation. Her work focuses on the search for self, community and purpose. She studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Rita McBride and Trisha Donnelly then graduated with an honorary Meisterschüler-Diploma in the class of Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster in 2020. Recent exhibitions include "Cork Street Banners Commission", Cork Street & Serpentine Galleries, London; "Kunsthal Charlottenborg Biennale", Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen; "in/visible", Cité International des Arts, Paris; "No Sex with Robots", Kunsthalle am Hamburger Platz, Berlin; "Queering the Narrative", Neuer Aachener Kunstverein; and "Journey Through A Body", Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.
