Cajsa von Zeipel (b. 1983, Gothenburg, Sweden / lives and works in New York, NY) works between desire, seduction, and the grotesque to defy traditional representations of gender. Her silicone sculptures of dramatically adorned figures and contorted figures delve into identity, queerness, normativity, and fantasy.
