Gern en Regalia is pleased to present Sun Thread, a three-person exhibition.

Olivia Neal is a textile artist specializing in weaving. She was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii and now lives and works in New York City. She received her BFA from California College of the Arts in 2013.

Astrid Terrazas lives and works in Ridgewood, Queens. Her multidisciplinary work acts as a blueprint for imagined worlds; her narratives reflect lived experiences, social engagements, and fleeting memory. They are speculative places that push personal and communal trauma towards tangible healing. Terrazas uses recurring motifs as artifacts of protection, meant to cast a safety spell upon anyone who encounters them. The work takes the form of painting, illustrated ceramic vessels, and mixed media sculpture.

Ektor Garcia (b. 1985, Red Bluff, California, USA) received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014, and his MFA from Columbia University, New York in 2016. Garcia lives and works in between Mexico, New York, and elsewhere.
