Mira Dancy

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new exhibition, Sawblade to the Sun, with the feminist artist Mira Dancy.

Mira Dancy reveals her thoughts:

"A jagged ray of golden light appears in several of my paintings. It makes me think of the brightness of a ray of sunshine that erupts from a knife’s cutting edge, slicing through the sky and time like a flashback. The action depicted in these paintings is set in different places in time and space which are nonetheless somehow conjoined, bathed in a shaft of iridescent light."
