For the third consecutive time, Lebanon is present at the Biennale Arte di Venezia, the most important art exhibition in the world.

The Lebanese Pavilion is a strong commitment to encourage Lebanese artists and to promote and preserve Lebanon's vibrant artistic scene on the global stage.

The Selection Committee composed of renowned experts has selected Nabil Nahas "for his ability to explore the complex relationship between nature, geometry, and cosmos through a singular visual language combining abstraction and figuration. His monumental compositions, between painting and sculpture, and his use of Fractal in both scientific and artistic dimensions, create immersive, sensory, and meditative experiences that traverse chaos and harmony. His art offers a poetic reading of the world, resonating with contemporary issues and evoking the spiritual and the material, the intimate and the cosmic."

A leading figure in contemporary art, Nabil Nahas, a Lebanese American painter, was born in Beirut in 1949.

He moved to the United States in 1969, earning a BFA from Louisiana State University and an MFA from Yale University in 1972. He currently lives and works between New York and Beirut.

His works are included in major museum collections, such as The British Museum (London), Tate Modern (London), The High Museum of Art (Atlanta), The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Rutgers University Zimmerli Museum (New Jersey), Colby Museum of Art (Maine), Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), The Flint Institute of Arts (Michigan), Michigan Museum of Art UMMA, Barjeel Art Foundation (Sharjah), Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art (Doha), Ramzi & Saeda FA from Dalloul Art Foundation (Beirut), Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
