In the minds soil

All the seeds get boiled

And grow slow into a weird

bloom

They emerge with no order

And some stay underground.

Some escape at night and are

never found.

The few that rise up, have stalks

that aren't easily cut. They have

roots that wrap around the gut.

Sometimes you can hear them

moving towards the surface,

when u have your eyes shut.
