Deli Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition entitled Silent Transformations.

Robert Gober (b. 1954) represented the United States at the 2001 Venice Biennale and has had one-person exhibitions at The Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles); the Walker Art Center (Minneapolis); the Serpentine Gallery (London); and, most recently, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst (Base)l. In 2007 his work was the subject of a retrospective exhibition at the Schaulager (Basel). A large-scale survey of his work was on view at The Museum of Modern Art (New York) from October 4, 2014 to January 18, 2015. He lives and works in New York.

Elizabeth Jaeger (b. 1988) has held recent solo and two-person exhibitions including Pommel and Six-Thirty at Jack Hanley Gallery (New York), 8.30 at And Now (Dallas), and Music Stand at Eli Ping (New York). The artist has participated in numerous group exhibitions including Mirror Cells at the Whitney Museum of American Art, Moma PS1's Greater New York and Sculpture Center's In Practice: Fantasy Can Invent Nothing New. Most recently, the artist exhibited in Dreamers Awake at White Cube (London), 99 Cents or Less at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Sticky Fingers at Arsenal Contemporary, and The Sun and the Rainfall II at Galleria Zero (Milan). Additionally, Jaeger co-founded and operates Peradam with Sam Cate-Gumpert, a publishing house specializing in artists’ books. The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Maren Karlson (b. 1988, Rostock, Germany) is a painter and drawer based in Berlin and Los Angeles. She has recently had solo exhibitions at Pushkin & Gogol (Berlin, Germany), Interstate Projects (Brooklyn, NY), Cockroach Queen at 99¢ Plus Gallery (Brooklyn, NY). Her work has been featured in Artforum, It’s Nice That, Vice, Nieves, and Tunica.

Asuka Anastacia Ogawa (b. 1988, Japan) spent her childhood between Tokyo, Japan and Petrópolis, Brazil before moving to Stockholm at the age of sixteen. The artist graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2015 and has exhibited at Henry Taylor’s (Los Angeles), Platform 1 Gallery (London), Redoubt Fortress and Institute of International Visual Arts (UK).

Kalen Na'il Roach (b. 1992) is an artist from Maryland currently working in photography, collage, video, and installation. He graduated with his BFA in Photography from St. John's University in 2014 and completed the International Center of Photography's One-Year General Studies Program in 2013. Roach’s work is anchored in the image of his own family and questions how this image is created from both the photographic archive and memory. His work explores and reconstructs the physical, metaphorical, and illusionary surfaces of photographs. Recent solo exhibitions include King Within a King at Deli Gallery (New York) in 2017.

Martha Tuttle (b. 1989, Santa Fe, New Mexico) works between painting and textile. Her hand-spun and woven surfaces ask questions about touch, intimacy, and devotional practice. She graduated from Bard College in 2011, and received her MFA from the Yale School of Art in Painting and Printmaking in 2015. Recent solo and two person exhibitions include Oracles, (Luce Gallery, Turin, IT) I long and seek after (Jack Tilton Gallery, New York, NY.), and Cimarron ( Rhona Hoffman Gallery, Chicago, IL). She lives and works in Brooklyn, N.Y. and is a current resident at the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program.
