About the show
For MoMA PS1’s courtyard commission, Precious Okoyomon transforms the outdoor space into a living forest of plants, sculpture, and sound. Native, invasive, cultivated, and wild species coexist around an enterable teddy-bear sculpture, with the garden changing across the seasons.

PS1’s idiosyncratic spaces have long had their challenges alongside their charm. In 1997, a campus-wide renovation included the creation of a large outdoor courtyard.
