About the show

Vitreous Humour brings together a group of contemporary artists working in a variety of mediums whose work evidences an exploration in “image-resolution” and multi-meaning that interrogates the intersections of reality and understanding. The show's title is an anatomical term which refers to the liquid between the lens and retina of the human eyeball. The liquid (humour) being the passageway or threshold between fact (lens) and interpretation (retina); the liquidity of distortion and misinterpretation.
