About the show
High Art is delighted to present Self Meditation, Daisuke Fukunaga's inaugural solo show at the gallery and the artist's first solo presentation in Europe.
Daisuke Fukunaga (b. 1981, Tokyo) currently lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Tama Art University in 2004 with a BFA degree in oil painting. He won the first Kinutani Koji Award sponsored by the Mainichi Shimbun in 2009.

About High Art
High Art was born in 2013 from a desire to bring together distinct perspectives that are significant to current paradigms in contemporary art. Since its inception, High Art has functioned to provide an economic and logistic framework for artists by reexamining established modes of art commerce while attempting to account for an expanding field of art.
