Good News New York takes its title from an artist's book by Matt Kenny featuring absurd and sensationalist headlines from New York's tabloid press. The exhibition brings together an intergenerational group of artists, cartoonists, and illustrators united by their use of the city as subject — producing work that is by turns humorous, hard-nosed, and deeply affectionate. Long live New York, forever teetering between beauty and chaos.
