The gallery is proud to present The Prime of Your Life, a landmark group exhibition bringing together an extraordinary roster of women artists over the age of 75 whose decades-long practices have fundamentally shaped the course of contemporary art. Installed across the gallery’s 299 Grand Street space, this ambitious exhibition celebrates not only longevity, but sustained innovation, resilience, and the enduring urgency of artistic vision.
About Marc Straus
The gallery's unique perspective is deeply rooted in the vision of its eponymous founder, Marc Straus. A poet, writer, and former Professor of Medicine and Chair of Oncology at New York Medical College, Straus practiced medical oncology for 35 years before fully dedicating himself to the gallery.
