Another Gallery LA is pleased to present its inaugural show, Escape From New York, a group show featuring twelve new works from seven domestic and internationally-based contemporary artists. In the coming year, all artists will have solo shows with our affiliated gallery in New York.

In Escape From New York, each artist brings their particular style and vision, allowing us to peer into their articulations of intimacy and intensity. The works project a collection of their desires, joys, anxieties, and expectations. From Keita’s classical techniques to Katelyn’s unconventional execution, the contrast of mediums and visual textures give the viewer an insight into these individual moments. Some achieved with a surprising and coy sharpness, others with blurred scenes and a distinct softness–almost as dreamy as a Cadillac with chandelier headlights.
