Hot Wheels London presents I Guess I’m Not So Special in the End, Aristotelis Nikolas Mochloulis’ first solo show at the gallery.

"When I was a kid, my mom told me I was the baby in the sun on the Teletubbies. And it made sense. I was born in 1996, the Teletubbies premiered in 1997, the baby looked a few months old. She told me they took me to a casting and they liked my blue eyes; the baby in the sun also has blue eyes. It made sense. I told all my friends. It made me feel special telling people I was the baby in the sun on the Teletubbies.

When I was 17 my mom told me she was lying. So I started telling people the story of how my mom told me I was the baby in the sun on the Teletubbies and I believed her. And I liked telling this story also, since it also felt special that she had lied and I believed her.

Then last week I told a girl this story, and she said she knows plenty of people with this exact same story, plenty of moms that had lied. Ultimate prank on your own child, she said."
