Ross + Kramer is pleased to present UFO907’s debut solo exhibition with the gallery The Sea Level is Rising But the Kids Will Be Alright.

From four new paintings pour vibrant scenes of mischievous children immersed in worlds all their own. This body of work speaks to the curiosity, boundless imagination, and resilience of childhood. Seeing their world as a blank canvas with endless opportunity, the kids thrive in the face of obstacles, embrace change, and leave their mark along the way.

UFO907 is an artist whose career defies traditional boundaries, bridging the worlds of classical fine art and graffiti writing. Hailing from the outskirts of New York City, he draws inspiration from the vibrant visual language of the city streets. After graduating from the Parsons School of Design, the artist immersed himself in woodworking and furniture craftsmanship—which would eventually go on to inform the development of his distinctive hand-crafted shaped canvases. Simultaneously, UFO907 embraced his identity as a graffiti writer, leaving his expressive lines and elaborate murals on forgotten walls and buildings scattered throughout New York City. In these public works, using materials such as aerosol, house paint, rollers, and homemade markers, the artist imbued rebellious and ironic expressions of graffiti with refined classical fine art techniques. Through his urban works, UFO907 forged a new context for classical mediums while delicately translating the spirit of the working class and local culture.
