About the show

Half Gallery is pleased to present Vaughn Spann's first solo exhibition in New York, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Blue Skies, comprised of Spann's social abstraction and figurative painting. Recently, Spann has been in several group exhibitions: Early 21st Century Art at Almine Rech Gallery, London, curated by Bill Powers, Familiar Boundaries, Infinite Possibilities at the August Wilson Center in Pittsburgh and Paradise at Night Gallery in Los Angeles. He will also be included in New Acquisitions at the Rubell Family Collection this December. Spann received his MFA from Yale University in 2018.
