Theodore Boyer & Grant Falardeau

Hilde L.A. proudly presents Aleph & The Rock, a two-person exhibition of painting and sculpture by Theodore Boyer & Grant Falardeau.

Theodore Boyer is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Boyer derives much of his visual inspiration from scientific journals, resulting in work that foregrounds the influence of biological and geological forms without negating the artifice of the canvases as man-made objects. Seen at a distance, his paintings are reminiscent of satellite photographs and extraterrestrial landscapes. He is represented by Shulamit Nazarian in Los Angeles.

Grant Falardeau is a film-maker and fine artist based Los Angeles. Grant Falardeau's mercurial output has included short films, music videos, television series, novels, poetry, sculptures, and drawings. His newest body of work for Aleph & The Rock include his largest sculptures to date.

Both Boyer and Falardeau live and work in Los Angeles.
