Jan-Ole Schiemann

Mier Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new paintings by Cologne-based artist Jan-Ole Schiemann. This will be the artist’s second solo exhibition with the gallery.

Jan-Ole Schiemann (b. 1983, Kiel, Germany) is a graduate of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Albert Oehlen and Andreas Schulze (2007-2013). He has had solo exhibitions “MYS/MOS” at Mier Gallery, Los Angeles (2015); “Why Don’tcha Use Fresh Ink When You Draw Me? I’ve Got No More Pep Than A Snail Under Ether” at Half Gallery, New York (2016); “Open Studio” at Hoelzerness Tor, Cologne (2014); Abschlusspraseantation, Rundgang at Kunstakademie Dusseldorf (2013); “pilot project_15” at pilot projekt fur kunst e.v., Dusseldrof (2013) and “Jan-Ole Schiemann im NKD at NKD, Berlin (2010).
