Frederick Weston

Frederick Weston's third exhibition at the gallery pairs two rarely shown works. 'Blue Yonder' (2010), a collage of six foamcore boards that spans the width of the bedroom wall where Weston made it, mixes water, sky and lightning with optical patterns, pharmaceutical ads and HIV statistics. Across from it hangs 'I'm in Here Somewhere/Oops Upside My Head' (2005), a painted plaster mask of Weston's face sculpted in art therapy at VillageCare's HIV day-treatment program.
