Tolika Mtoliki

Seven South African artists are shown together around the idea of translation, using the South African word 'tolika', to translate or interpret. The works range from stitched and assembled sculpture by Nicholas Hlobo and beadwork and weaving by Bulumko Mbete to Frans Thoka's prison-blanket pieces, Mankebe Seakgoe's drawn inscriptions and landscape photographs reworked on woven grass mats by Benjamin Stanwix and Xhanti Zwelendaba.
