Bill Brady Gallery is pleased to present Nobunaga 03.

Susumu Kamijo and Koichi Sato return as curators in the third edition of their collaborative exhibition titled Nobunaga, stemming from the story of Oda Nobunaga, a Japanese daimyo, one of the leading figures of the Sengoku period and regarded as the first "Great Unifier" of Japan. Nobunaga was the head of the mighty Oda clan and launched a war against other daimyos to unify Japan in the 1560s. This third iteration of the series brings two artists into the fold: New York-based artist Dan McCarthy and Los Angeles artist and collector Marc Richards.

Dan McCarthy (b. 1962, Honolulu, Hawaii) McCarthy has had solo exhibitions at Anton Kern Gallery, New York, NY, Bill Brady Gallery, Miami, FL, and Venus Over Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA. McCarthy has been featured in group exhibitions at Galeria Mascota, New York, NY, Primary, Miami, FL, Harper's, East Hampton, NY, Vertical Gallery, Chicago, IL, The Hole, New York, NY, The Journal Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, Kate MacGarry, London, UK, and Venus over Manhattan, New York, NY. He has an upcoming solo exhibition at Baldwin Gallery, Aspen, Colorado; he lives and works in Palenville, New York.

Marc Richards (b. 1949, Bronx, New York) is a self-taught artist and long-time collector. In making his art, he dabbled, primarily drawing psychedelic-like figures with pastels. Then one day, he was drawing celebrities and thought: "why not the art world?" After all, this is his community. Richards has been a dealer and collector of contemporary art for over thirty years. He is the producer and moderator of "Art Matters," a series of panel discussions interviewing art community members. He lives and works in Los Angeles, California.

Koichi Sato (b. 1974, Tokyo, Japan) Sato has had solo shows at Jack Hanley, New York, NY; Bill Brady Gallery, Miami, FL; Woaw, Hong Kong; and The Hole, New York, NY.
