Elizabeth Karp-Evans & Nikholis Planck

New Stage New Badges is the first collaboration between Nikholis Planck and Elizabeth Karp-Evans.

New works by Planck, including a suspended, mobile cast-wax wood stage and recent painting, will be accompanied by 1,000 badges by Karp-Evans, depicting text and image, mirrored in reflective surfaces throughout the gallery—a decidedly optimistic entreaty for the transfusion of new individuals, ideas, and mantras into the exhibition space. New Stage New Badges creates a platform for participants to reflect upon and disrupt the hierarchies that separate viewer from art.

Performances programed by Karp-Evans and Planck will take place under New Stage at 6pm every Saturday. Please see our website for a schedule of performances.
