Asia Now is a curated art fair that amplifies the artistic voices of Asia and its diaspora.

Attuned to the dynamic shifts shaping contemporary art, it champions the emergence of new cultural centers that are defining today’s art landscape. More than a geography, we see Asia as a methodology, a movement, with a multi-centric approach that celebrates global Asias for their communal spirit and collective practices. By fostering critical engagement, the fair becomes a space of encounter and exchange taking the spirit of a festival.

Since 2015, Asia Now has shed light on the multiplicity of contemporary Asian art scenes, unveiling a constantly evolving cartography of practices, narratives, and critical voices. The fair is a unique place to discover each year's selection of galleries, artists and major players, historical or emergent, from different scenes of the global south.

As the guiding mission of Asia Now, My East is Your West, challenges political and cultural divisions, reminding us that our perspectives are shaped by where we stand. It calls on us to embrace complexity, encourage dialogue across regions, and highlight the shared histories and creative ties that bind seemingly distant worlds.

Under the evocative title Grow, this year’s Curatorial theme invites audiences to witness how perceptions take root and transform our understanding of the world. This year’s theme encourages us to move beyond the boundaries that have long defined East and West, and to consider how geography, culture, and history nurture the ways we see ourselves and others. The fair resonates with Leela Gandhi’s research on “affective communities,” revealing the subtle collaborations and shared stories that allow new forms of connection and understanding to emerge.

Alongside the gallery presentations, Asia Now has built a strong public program shaped by invited curators and international institutions. Encompassing performances, talks, and special projects, the program brings together diverse voices and practices that reflect the richness and dynamism of the regions represented.
