Under the Oven Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Loulapop, an immersive multimedia installation by artist Aima Saint Hunon in collaboration with lighting designer Emmanuel Gambin.
Saturated in light, color, and sweetness, Saint Hunon’s Loulapop constructs a fantastical world predicated on gender equity through sensual play. Saint Hunon flirts with material and symbolic duality, apposing bronze figures and spritely 3D-printed forms, oil paintings with trance-like illuminations, ecstatically uniting themes of feminine power and sacred masculinity.
