Jilaine Jones

Super Super Markt is pleased to present Jilaine Jones (b. 1959 in London, UK; lives and works in New Haven, CT, USA) solo exhibition, marking the artist’s first exhibition with the gallery and her first in Germany.

The exhibition brings together a focused group of sculptures and intimate reliefs that unfold through close looking – works that do not announce themselves loudly, but instead gather intensity the longer one spends with them.

Jilaine Jones (b. 1959 in London, UK) lives and works in New Haven, CT, USA. She studied at the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred, and graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 1983.

Since 2002, Jones is leading the sculpture atelier at the New York Studio School, New York.
