Nestled in the heart of Paris’s historic Marais district, Behind The Door emerges as a new and exceptional venue dedicated to contemporary art. Once a jewelry foundry, this historically rich location has undergone a radical transformation, evolving into a splendid exhibition space that hosts remarkable collections several times a year.

After having long remained hidden from view, this space now opens its doors to the public, offering a privileged setting for a continuous and enriching dialogue between established artists and the rising stars of tomorrow.

Behind The Door aspires to be a place of convergence where contemporary art harmoniously coexists with the ultra-contemporary, a place where dominant figures and legends of the 21st century mingle with the promising talents of the new generation.

For its inaugural exhibition, Behind The Door brings together four figures of Contemporary Art Miriam Cahn, Nate Lowman, Daniel Richter, Steven Shearer, alongside a highly promising emerging artist from the younger generation, the talented painter Justine Neuberger.
