David Medalla

Mountains is delighted to present David Medalla Luftbrücke, a groundbreaking exhibition celebrating the life and visionary work of renowned Filipino artist David Medalla (1938–2020). The exhibition is curated by Mountains in collaboration with David Medalla's partner Adam Nankervis. Luftbrücke marks the first solo presentation of David Medalla by Mountains, Berlin. In 2024, the gallery presented one of the artist's autogenerative 'Bubble Machines' at Basel Social Club. In 2023, works by the artist have been included in the gallery's group show Unputdownable. Currently, works by David Medalla can be seen in the Tate Modern's Electric Dreams show in London, and at Julia Stoschek Foundation, Berlin in After Images, curated by Lisa Long.
