Maneros Zabala utilizes a conceptual practice to redirect our attention from the experience of looking to how and why this information has been placed in front of us. The research for this current project based in framing technologies and styles began in 2014, before the campaign, the election and the last 9 months. The resulting wall and video works are a powerful distillation of history and the recent present. This will be Maneros Zabala’s fourth solo show at the gallery.
