Chung Hyun & Goyoson

End vs. And is an exhibition that aims to put the universal and inevitable system and genealogy of the history of Western Art, on our second thought with suspicion, through the artworks of Chung Hyun, who has opened a new chapter of sculpture, and the artworks of Goyoson, who has begun sculpture at the end of sculpture, and thereby, explores the optional possibilities in an artistic manner.

In the works of Chung Hyun, which dismantles the sculptural practices in tradition and innovates the tradition, and in the works of Goyoson, who sensibly brings space and form into the world of sculpture without any boundaries, we can appreciate the deviation, and the rift of the institutional origin of universal art, and the genealogical perspectives. The rendezvous between these two artists is similar to the model of "Young Geniuses and Old Masters," which were common in Western modern art history. However, regardless of its tradition and context, a brand-new artistic context is going to be born in the place of Seoul, Korea.
