David Horvitz presents an exhibition of written prompts, actions and situations in his garden in Los Angeles.

For this project, Horvitz has invited a group of artists to share a text instructional score that can be enacted by visitors to the garden. These scores will be available to all who visit. Food will be prepared on site by Los Angeles chefs Amanda Lanza, Heidi Rushforth and Ryan Ross. The reception is generously provided by Triple Canopy.

David Horvitz is an artist from Los Angeles who works in a variety of media. He is currently building a garden with landscape architects Terremoto on a vacant lot across the street from his studio. Horvitz has a hand-shake agreement with the landowner, allowing him access to the land, which at some point may be developed or sold.
