Raffaella Hanley and Will Sheldon's collaboration on Sod Walker Tomorrow stems from a mutual delight in the fantastical and an intersection of sensibilities. Hanley's vision of the Sod Walker world is enlivened and further populated by Sheldon's drawings.
This new iteration of the Sod Walker SS18 collection at White Columns, first shown in September 2017 at Bridget Donahue Gallery as part of NYFW, is directed by Emma McMillian and features a cast selected by Hanley and Sheldon. To accompany the event, White Columns will publish a new zine by Henley and Sheldon.
Hanley is the creator and head designer of Lou Dallas, a New York based fashion line.
Sheldon is a New York based artist. Sheldon's solo exhibition 'Looking for Blueberries in a house painted brown', is currently on view at White Columns until October 21st.
About White Columns
White Columns was founded in 1970 by a group of artists including Jeffrey Lew and Gordon Matta-Clark as an experimental platform for art. Originally located in SoHo (and known as the 112 Workshop/112 Greene Street), the organization was renamed White Columns when it moved to Spring Street in 1980.
