Esphyr Slobodkina

Rosenberg & Co. is pleased to present Esphyr Slobodkina: An Unbound Creativity. Following our solo presentation of Slobodkina's work at Independent 20th Century, An Unbound Creativity explores the remarkable artistic depth and breadth of Esphyr Slobodkina. A Russian-born author, illustrator, and pioneer of early American abstraction, Slobodkina refused to adhere to any one artistic movement or medium, deciding instead to forge a path that was uniquely her own. An Unbound Creativity brings together works from each decade of Slobodkina’s career, illustrating a lifelong desire to continually rearrange the world without limitations.
