Annie Leibovitz's most enduringly popular series of photographs 'Women' was published in 1999. The new exhibition Women: New Portraits reflects the changes in the roles of women today. In addition to the new photographs, the exhibition includes work from the original series as well as other photographs taken since.

The Former Bayview Correctional Facility, the future home of The Women’s Building

The women’s prison is being transformed into The Women’s Building, a global hub for the girls’ and women’s rights movement. Led by the NoVo Foundation, a philanthropy created by Jennifer and Peter Buffett in 2006, in collaboration with the Lela Goren Group, a real estate development company founded in 2007 by Lela Goren, The Women’s Building will open its doors in 2020.
