Stefan Marx

The exhibition, comprised primarily of 30 ink drawings from the book Passenger Available for Disembarkation published by Dashwood Books in 2023, is part of Stefan Marx's ongoing series of plane drawings; lovingly rendered ink drawings of commercial airplanes parked or taxiing on the tarmac along with the artist's signature portraiture of crew and passengers. Marx's obsession with airplanes began when he was taken to the open observation deck at Frankfurt Airport with his family as a child.
