Hunter Dunbar Projects is pleased to present Seeker of Nature, the first major U.S. solo exhibition of Park Kwang-Jin’s work, opening this September.
Bringing together a significant selection of landscape paintings spanning more than 40 years, the exhibition traces Park’s sustained engagement with the natural world. A founding member of the Mokwoohoe (Figurative Art movement), Park has developed a signature visual language that synthesizes traditional observation with modernist form.
At age 93, his contemporary practice continues to evolve.

The gallery’s inaugural exhibition was the groundbreaking two-part presentation Ninth Street and Beyond: 70 Years of Women in Abstraction , which traced the evolution of non-objective painting from the “Ninth Street” pioneers of the 1950s to their 21st-century acolytes.
