Connie Harrison

Nino Mier Gallery is pleased to present Landscrapes, Connie Harrison’s first solo exhibition in the United States and with the gallery.

Using scalpels and flat knives, Harrison scrapes into the wax underlying her oil paintings to carve new pathways and multiple ways of seeing. The result are paintings that reward sustained looking and that echo nature’s capacity to resist complete understanding.
