Francesco João (b. 1987, Milan, Italy) lives and works between São Paulo, Brazil, and Milan, Italy. Robert Longo (b. 1953, New York, USA) lives and works in New York. His work has been shown at documenta, Kassel (1982, 1987); the Whitney Biennial, New York (1983, 2004); and the Venice Biennale (1997). Recent solo exhibitions include the Palm Springs Art Museum (2021); Hall Art Foundation, Derneburg (2020); Sara Hildén Art Museum, Tampere (2017); Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield (2012); Museu Berardo, Lisbon (2010); and Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain, Nice (2009). His project Proof, featuring works by Longo alongside Francisco Goya and Sergei Eisenstein, travelled from the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow (2016) to the Brooklyn Museum, New York (2017), and Deichtorhallen, Hamburg (2018).
