Bryce Wolkowitz

Bryce Wolkowitz has made a major commitment to representing artists who are exploring the intersection of art and technology. His gallery which he founded in 2002 in Chelsea, NY, has showcased as its primary focus, emerging, mid-career and historical artists in the field of Video and New Media. The gallery's dedication to supporting an array of innovative practices has been the catalyst for the expansion of its program to include painting and sculpture. His passion is rooted in the institutional experience he acquired while working with John Hanhardt, then Senior Curator of Film and Video Art at the Guggenheim Museum, NY. He eventually came to recognize New Media as the art form of which he could build upon his prior experience as an expert in Photography, having worked in the photographs department at Christie's for five years.
