About
The name ARCADE is a ready-made (referencing neither Pac-Man nor Walter Benjamin) found on a street in Amsterdam in 2006 on the way to a studio visit with Jeremiah Day —the first artist approached to make an exhibition at a gallery that hadn’t yet opened.
Arcade is an artist-driven gallery expanding the relationships, tools and resources of contemporary art into wider forms of civic and cultural exchange.
Building on nearly two decades of work with artists, curators, collectors and cultural professionals, Arcade now brings exhibitions, food, hospitality and local partnerships into closer relation.
