In September 2026, Galerie Lazarew becomes LAZAREW DE PONTCHARRA! This change of name gives a more accurate reflection of what the gallery has become since it was founded in 2011 in Paris Le Marais by Alexandre Lazarew and Laura de Pontcharra.

Rather than a restrictive guideline, we have always valued intuition to find artists who explore the realm of the possible with consistency, hard work and sincerity. We have always defended painting but are also particularly sensitive to artists who seize upon unexpected materials to invent their own unseen paths. We assert this eclecticism, enlightened by the desire to defend artists who are physically involved in their work, who value a gesture and even - let us not mince our words - a know-how. Lastly, desire is the heart of our vocation.
