Founded in 1972 in downtown Manhattan, Artists Space operates as a venue dedicated to fostering New York City's artistic and cultural life. The organization presents work across all artistic forms while emphasizing emerging ideas and artists and maintaining attentiveness to social and intellectual concerns shaping contemporary practice. Currently located at 11 Cortlandt Alley in Tribeca, the space encompasses approximately 8,000 square feet across two floors.
