Guatemalan Pavilion

The 6 photographs that are presented in the Guatemala pavilion of the Biennale Arte 2022 are part of a series called: Santo Tomas. These works were captured in Chichicastenango on a 21st of December because that is the day of the town’s patron saint. The cultural diversity of the country is displayed, as well as the “inclusion” of the ancestral with the everyday.
