Casoli De Luca

Mattia De Luca turned his passion for art into a profession and, in 2018, alongside Sergio Casoli, he inaugurated his first gallery, which would become the Galleria Mattia De Luca two years later. The gallery specializes in significant works by great masters of the twentieth century belonging to an established artistic historiography. With a rich program of exhibitions, publications and projects, the Galleria Mattia De Luca maintains an international and innovative identity within the traditional context of Rome’s historic center. Located in Piazza di Campitelli, between Piazza Venezia, the Theater of Marcellus and the Ancient Jewish Ghetto, the gallery is located in the historic Palazzo Albertoni Spinola. The building was commissioned by the Marquis Baldassarre Paluzzi Albertoni (1599-1653) to the architect Giacomo Della Porta (ca. 1540-1602) and then to Girolamo Rainaldi (1570-1655).
