Galeria Plan B

In 2008, Plan B expanded by opening a permanent exhibition space in Berlin, which has since been managed by Mihai Pop and Mihaela Lutea. In 2009, Plan B helped initiate Fabrica de Pensule (The Paintbrush Factory) in Cluj, an independent cultural center housed in a former paintbrush factory. Currently, Plan B Cluj is working on establishing Fundatia Plan B, an art foundation with programs designed for a historic late Baroque palace in the city center, now undergoing renovations. This foundation will broaden the research and presentation of Romanian art in an international context.

Outside the gallery’s regular programming, Mihai Pop has co-curated several exhibitions in the context of the Prague Biennale 4 , a section of the exhibition Romanian Cultural Resolution at the Spinnerei Leipzig and Club Electroputere Craiova, and Mircea Pinte Collection at the Museum of Art in Cluj.
