Victoria Miro

Victoria Miro first opened her gallery on Cork Street, Mayfair, in 1985. Over the past four decades, together with partners Glenn Scott Wright and Oliver Miro, who joined in 1996 and 2011 respectively, the gallery has gained international acclaim for nurturing a roster of established artists and showcasing a new generation of voices from around the world.

In 2000 the gallery relocated to its present premises, a sensitively restored furniture factory in North London. In 2006 the gallery opened a second exhibition and private viewing space in an adjoining building, uniquely connected by a waterside sculpture garden. Today Victoria Miro is one of London’s largest commercial gallery spaces.
