Shu Hua Xiong

Island is pleased to present a solo show of new paintings by Shu Hua Xiong.

"For the past few years, I've been living very specifically—in process, in repetition, in studio practice and in life. I've developed rituals to stay grounded and guard my attention. The world is not getting better sadly, but our heart is sacred. We don't choose but to live in the repetition, an upward spiral, and in the liminal space of being spiritual and worldly. And you are too unknowingly, sending out prayers."
