Established in 2013 in New York City, Ficus Interfaith Research & Properties specializes in the exploration and production of history, time, memory, and scent. Research is stimulated by “found” natural aesthetics and their influence on the contemporary condition, while Properties focuses on the complex amalgamation of nature and locality. Their work currently takes form in projects that engage and subvert the cultural and historical trajectories of artisan crafts. Recent investigations include potpourri, ornamental fruit carving, ferro-cement, terrazzo flooring, seed banks, and time capsules.

Previous exhibitions include “One is Silver, And The Other’s Gold” with Elizabeth Englander at 10-01 44th Rd. LIC (NY), "In Home Springs Eternal" at Sunbeam (Kerhonkson, NY), “Soft Industries” at Proxy (Providence, RI) and “Blues Away” at RK Projects (NY). Their work will be featured in the upcoming exhibition “Dark Chit-Chat or Not Part 1” at US Blues (NY) in July and Species (GA) in 2017.
